Nowadays children have various options to study. There are traditional schools, and also children can study at home. Any child now has an opportunity to study online, not only if they have problems with health.

So, why do some parents prefer online education to traditional one? First of all, this type of education is very convenient for children who have higher abilities and would like to study faster or to get deeper knowledge. Besides, it suits the children who do any sport professionally and are not able to attend traditional school every weekday. Moreover, there are some families living in faraway places or in a foreign country. Online learning is the answer for them.

Online education definitely has some advantages. A pupil can study from any point of the world thanks to the worldwide network. Also, the schedule can be flexible and customized. Besides, speed of education can be chosen individually: needed topics which are hard to understand can be learned more detailed.

On the other hand, all pupils should be highly motivated and well-organized to study successfully. Moreover, primary school children do not have enough computer skills, which requires great parents' assistance. Last but not least, distance learning does not help a child to develop communicative skills.

It can't be said definitely which form of education is the best, but it's great that we have options to choose from. Parents can decide which path to take. However, they have to organize a child's life, hobbies, free time, etc. themselves.
