A century ago, it was normal to see expensive carriages on London's roads. Today the police use horses just as a convenient way of patrolling the streets. If a tourist sees a police officer on a horse, he will 100 % take a photo of him.

London's underground is the best way to move from one part to another. London citizens call it "The Tube". You can travel so quick and easy even under the River Thames.
But in summer it's very stuffy inside, and lots of tourists are using it to see all the attractions. Sometimes they get the wrong train and ask citizens to help them. We don't suggest using underground in the "rush hour". It lasts from 7:00 until 9:00 in the morning, and from 5:00 until 7:00 in the evening.

London's red double-decker buses became the national symbol. Tourists usually catch them to get the best view from the bus's roof. There is one big minus of using them: traffic jams. You can get stuck in a traffic jam easily and wait a long time in it. But the bus trip can be very cheap if you have a travelcard or a discounted ticket.

London is full of taxis. Taxis are amazing but very expensive. Remember that the taxi drivers aren't going to save your money. It's better to rent a bike and take a ride around London. But don't forget to check the weather forecast. It's not comfortable to ride a bike in the rain. Bikes are excellent to save your money and time. But don't forget to give it back at the end of the day.
