A. Christmas is one of the most important holidays in many countries, and every country has its own traditions. On Christmas Eve in Poland, many families eat "oplatek" (a wafer), each person breaking off a piece while they wish each other Merry Christmas. Dinner may not begin until the first star appears in the night sky and, traditionally, an extra setting is left at the table should someone show up uninvited.

B.Becoming comfortable in your own company can give you the time and freedom to truly understand your own passions, interests, and wishes. It can be a way to try new things, research topics that fascinate you, and acquire knowledge that you need. Giving yourself alone time means you can look into these things without the pressures and judgments that others may impose. Having time to yourself is crucial for growth and personal development.

C. During ancient times, you could go to the Colosseum even if you were short of money. If you were Roman, you didn't have to pay to enter the Colosseum. The emperors used the arena to promote their political policies, so they wanted more Romans to know about their intentions and support them. Foreigners were of no political use to the leaders, so they had to shell out a coin or two to watch the spectacle.

D. The Ice Runway is one of the most dangerous airports in the world. The dangers of the airport are connected with extreme weather conditions. The Ice Runway is one of three major airstrips used to deliver supplies and researchers to Antarctica's McMurdo Station. As its name implies, there's no tarmac in sight — just a long road of real ice and snow. The real challenge is making sure that the weight of the aircraft and cargo doesn't break the ice or get the plane stuck in soft snow.

E.If you always use the same password, no matter how carefully crafted it may be, it's probably already out there. The 2017 Equifax data breach that resulted in the loss of 147 million Americans' public records was big news, but we don't always hear about the smaller-scale breaches, which are frequent. They occur when criminals purchase leaked databases of usernames and passwords on dark web marketplaces. Then, they try these combinations, hoping to access people's other accounts.

F. Considered the most haunted place in Norfolk, the Bell Hotel has existed for the last six centuries. Several ghosts have been seen throughout the hotel during its time, but the main suite's bedroom has seen the most activity. It is supposedly haunted by a hooded monk, who was captured and killed during the Reformation. Another resident ghost is said to be that of a former landlady, who died there years ago.

G. Friends can provide a positive influence. If you make friends with people who are generous with their time, help others or are ambitious or family-oriented, you are more likely to develop those values yourself. Great friends have the power to mold you into the best version of yourself. They see you and love you for who you truly are. They encourage you to be the person you want to be — your "ideal self" — and to step out of your comfort zones if it is needed.
