Yesterday I \(want\) to watch a film on TV. I quickly \(finish\) my homework. Then I \(go\) into the living room. But when I \(get\) there, I \(see\) that my parents \(talk\) and they \(make\) a lot of noise. I \(ask\) them to be quiet but they \(tell\) me to turn off the TV and go upstairs to my room.
When I \(come\) upstairs, my sister \(watch\) the same film on the TV in her bedroom, so we \(decide\) to watch the film together. When my parents \(come\) upstairs half an hour later, my sister and I \(talk\), so I never did see the film!
