Variation in the use of gadgets

More than 87% of the participants were reported to use any form of electronic gadgets (Figure 1A). Smartphones were found to be the prominent one; 67.11% of the participants used this type of gadget on a daily basis for various purposes. About 39% of the participants used gadgets for watching cartoons or movies followed by social media (27%) and video games (17%) (Figure 1B). However, 24.48% of the participants also used these devices for participating in online classes due to this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. A tiny portion of the participants (8.74%) used these gadgets for normal communication purposes.
