Study the exam task and choose the best explanation of the choice of the illustrations for the project.

Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Man's best friends“.

You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;

● mention the advantages (1–2) of keeping a dog and a cat as a pet;

● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of keeping a dog and a cat as a pet;

● express your opinion on the subject of the project – whether you would prefer to have a dog or a cat as a pet and why.

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

The pictures are relevant to our project because in both of them there are people spending time with their pets. In one photo, there is a boy hugging his dog. They are looking at the water on the bank of the river. The dog is big, a German Shepherd, I suppose. In the other photo, there is an old man holding his cat. The cat is white and fluffy. The old man loves his cat a lot.

The pictures are relevant to our project because in both of them there are people relaxing during their free time. The old man looks very happy. We can't see the boy's face, but I think he is happy too. The man is at home. The boy is at the river.

The pictures are suitable for our project "Man's best friends" because in both of them we can see people relaxing during their free time. In one photo, we can see a young boy whereas in the other photo, we can see an old man. The old man looks very happy.
