There are signal words that can help you to recognize the Present Simple tense:

Always, usually, sometimes, hardly ever, never, twice a week, on Mondays, etc.

We use Present Continuous to talk about things in progress that are happening now or around now.

I am drinking tea now.

We can also use Present Continuous to talk about the arranged things in the future.

We are travelling to the countryside this weekend. (We have already agreed on that.)

Form:

  • He is watching TV now.

− He is not (isn't) watching TV now.

? Is he watching TV now?

There are signal words that can help you to recognize the Present Continuous tense:

Now, this week, at the moment, today, etc.
