Somebody believes that yesterday at 1 p.m. the following people were in the middle of an action. That cannot be, however, as yesterday at 1 p.m. these people were not doing those things.

Write negative sentences in the Past Continuous using the words given (do not use short forms); an example is given. Remember to use  the full stop at the end of the sentence.

Example:

you / not / play / football
You were not playing football.

Mister Miller was not teaching chemistry.

2. Taylor and Bob / not / cycle / home

Taylor and Bob were not cycling home.

3. Benjamin / not / write / an e-mail

Benjamin was not writing an e-mail.

4. Jane / not / exercise / in the gym

Jane was not exercising in the gym.

5. They / not / count / their money

They were not counting their money.
