Sally and Jenny are talking about going to the opera. Read the dialogue and choose the best answers.

Sally: Jenny, what do you think about operas?

Jenny: To be honest, Sally, operas are not my cup of tea.

Sally: I have some free tickets for the opera called "The Ring of the Nibelung". Will you join me?

Jenny: Why not? I think it could be an exciting experience. Let's try it! Who is the composer?

Sally: Richard Wagner. Have you heard anything about him?

Jenny: Yes! I know that some of his music is often used in Hollywood films, action films, and thrillers.

Sally: You are absolutely right! Some people say that his music can be peculiar but I disagree. He is the creator of musical myths who seeks to deduce drama from music, but its fuel is the libretto. Wagner wanted to control everything, so he wrote them to himself. His texts are full of pathos, but the most important thing in them is the musicality of the sound of the language, its alliterations, the poetry hidden in its grammar.

Jenny: Sounds great!

Sally: By the way, "The Ring of the Nibelung" is not just one opera, but four: "The Gold of the Rhine", "The Valkyrie", "Siegfried", and "The Death of the Gods". Despite the general plot, the operas are very different.

Jenny: Really? What do you mean?

Sally: You can see the legend of greed and vanity, and a psychological love drama; the death of the old world and the birth of a new one.

Jenny: Sounds very exciting. Where and when should we meet?

Sally: Let's meet at the opera house at 5:30 pm. It starts at 6 pm, so we won't have to rush.
