Full form

Negative

Full form

  1. Cars will not be slow.
  2. He will not drive a petrol car.

Short form

  1. Cars won't be slow.
  2. He won't drive a petrol car.

Future Simple: positive and negative
We form questions to ask about the future like this:

General questions:

Will + a subject + a verb (base form)

  1. Will your room be big and comfortable?

    – Yes, it will.

    – No, it won't.

  2. Will Jane paint her room green?

    – Yes, she will.

    – No, she won't.

Special questions:

A question word + will + a subject + a verb (base form)
