I want to say that I am a keen reader. First of all, it is a chance to escape and have an adventure. As a 10-year-old, I could be found reading Harry Potter, and I enjoyed it all the same. Now, as a student, it is harder to find the time to read books for pleasure; however, I enjoy the summers when I have the time to read to my heart's content. I brew a cup of tea and dive into reading. I love to learn about history, poetry, literature, and can't wait to share it with my friends.

Speaker 2

I am really into detective stories because when I read the stories I have to think and analyse the investigation logically. Besides, I can also learn some scientific knowledge within the stories. For example, last week I read A Study in Scarlet. It is the first book about Sherlock Holmes, and I found it surprisingly easy to read. The first part of the book was a fascinating mystery. I was glued to the story, waiting for what happened next. While the second part was longer and boring sometimes, I managed to read it, but I was a little disappointed.

Speaker 3

There are stacks of books on my shelves, all different genres. That's why I prefer e-books because I can take all my books wherever I go and read them whenever I want. Sometimes it is difficult to decide which one to pick up or put down. When a book from my favourite author comes out, I run to the bookstore and then read it from cover to cover. If I want to read some rare paper books, I just go to the library next to my place or order them on the Internet.
