My name's Ivan. I was born in Nizhny Novgorod, and I live here now. It is my native city. Nizhny Novgorod is a very lively place that is located in Central Russia, between the two major cities — Moscow and Kazan. It was founded in 1221. It was the main trade place in the past. People from all over the country came to Nizhny Novgorod to buy and sell goods. Its population is one million and five hundred thousand citizens. It is the 6th biggest city in Russia. It is one of the biggest economic centres in Russia. There are many types of transportation in Nizhny Novgorod. You can travel by bus or by trolley here. You can even take the underground. Nizhny Novgorod is one of the largest centres of river tourism in Russia.
