Hi! My name is Jessica. I’m eleven years old. I study at a school here in the UK. I’m in Year 7. In the UK we start school when we are five years old. It is a little bit different from Russia.

My favourite subject is art. I always use my coloured pencils, rubber and ruler to draw beautiful pictures. Sometimes the teacher asks me to draw something on the board. Look at the picture of my drawing on the board! Do you like it?

Sometimes other students draw pictures on desks and chairs, but I never do it. Their drawings are ugly.

Here at my school we need to wear uniform. Girls wear skirts and blouses, and boys wear trousers and shirts. We can’t wear clothes like shorts, jeans or sunglasses at school. But we can wear shorts for PE!
