The adventurous travellers

Discoveries, adventures, hitchhiking and as much travel as possible on our way to see the whole world! But first, a little timeline:

Paragraph 1. 2014. The time we met each other. Normal life was boring for us and we decided to set out an incredible journey around the world that changed our life. We planned our trip for almost a year. There could be problems with valid passports, Visa, vaccines and other stuff. When you start the preparations sometimes it feels like you're doing a huge amount of homework assignment. But with a little planning, everything becomes easier right away!

Paragraph 2. 2015. In September 2015, we took our first plane to Rio, the beginning of our round the globe trip…It started well. Nobody was seriously ill and nothing was stolen even though we visited Brazilian favelas. Fortunately, people in each country we visited were hospitable and kind. One family even invited us to have dinner and stay overnight when we were exhausted after 3-day hiking tour.

Paragraph 3. 2017. After two years of nomad lifestyle we faced an unexpected problem. We can’t travel overland everywhere. Sometimes there are even no ferries between countries and islands. We, obviously, can’t walk on water so we had to go by plane to get to some islands. That’s highly inconvenient and expensive. But we could afford those flights. After that we continued our journey to the biggest island in the world - Australia.

Paragraph 4. 2019. In the beginning of 2019 we finally reached it. Australia right in front of us. To be honest, I was afraid of various wild animals there but my husband always tried to comfort me. In the end, Australian wildlife was spectacular. Kangaroos are so sweet and cute. The truth is it was hard to travel across the country. Fortunately, we could hitchhike on other people’s cars and trucks.

Paragraph 5. 2021. Finally, after almost 6 years of our nomad life, we reached our final destination. It was the 201st country to visit - Switzerland.It is a great place with scenic views from the mountains where we spend two weeks. But the whole stay there we were thinking about what to do next. Can we return to what is often called “a normal life”? Well, this is complicated. Perhaps we continue travelling. It is our passion after all.
