Hello! My name is Kate. I’m eleven years old. I’m from Great Britain, and I am at Green School. When I was eight, my favourite subject was IT, but I did not like Maths. I didn’t get good marks at school. My Mum and Dad decided to teach me at home. I was glad and wanted to stay in bed all day long. But it was the other way around. First, I studied things I liked and found interesting. Then I realised that I didn't have enough knowledge of other subjects. At school, Maths was boring, but now it is useful for making my models on my computer. Was it bad to study at home? Not really. I was sorry that I couldn't play with my friends, but I could do it at weekends, and we talked about school. Some weeks I studied more than they did. Other weeks I didn't study much. And I never had homework!
