Last week, my best friend Anna got sick and had to go to the hospital. I was very worried about her and decided to visit her every day. When I arrived at the hospital for the first time, I saw Anna in her bed. She looked sad and tired, but smiled when she saw me.
I brought her some books and her favourite chocolate. Anna was happy to see me and said, “Thank you so much for coming. I feel much better now that you are here.” I sat next to her bed and talked about our favourite movies and school. I tried to make her laugh and forget about her illness.
Every day I brought her something new — sometimes flowers, sometimes music, and sometimes funny stories from school. The nurses said I was a very good friend because I always took care of Anna. I helped her with everything — from eating to writing messages to our other friends.
After a week, Anna started to feel better. She said that my visits helped her a lot. “You are the best friend anyone could have,” she told me. I was happy to help her. I understood that being a good friend means being there when someone needs you, showing sympathy, and caring about their feelings.
When Anna came home from the hospital, we had a big celebration with all our friends. It was a great day, and I was so glad that my friend was healthy again. Now we always remind each other how important it is to support friends in difficult times.
