Do you like animals and worry about them? Do you have free time and
[ ]? Aren't you afraid of difficulties?
We will be glad to see you in our friendly team. All our volunteers are people who are constantly involved in the life of the shelter. So, what can a shelter volunteer do to help?
[ ]
There are a lot of animals in our shelter but a pretty small staff. Unfortunately, we are not able to
[ ]. Some young dogs are not used to a leash. Very often, good and kind animals that could find a home are afraid of strangers and sounds. They are afraid of new places, they cannot stand cars and loud noises. All this makes the process of "adoption" very difficult, and sometimes impossible.
[ ]
You do not have the opportunity to take the animal home, do you? Some people can't do this because of housing conditions, others are allergic to dog's or cat's hair, or have a very busy work schedule. Then you can become a permanent caretaker. We offer you
[ ] and visit it when you have time. We suggest that you partially pay for the animal's needs. You can also donate any things that we might need like pet toys or food.
[ ]
There is always a lot to do in the shelter, and your help will always be useful. Cleaning the territory, helping in the kitchen, walking the animals and feeding them — [ ]!
[ ]
If you have a car, you can also be of great help. Please tell us if you can take the animal to an animal clinic, to a new place of residence, to the airport or to the exhibition. If you have an opportunity
[ ], we will be very grateful as well!
[ ]
One of the main tasks of the shelter is to find a good foster home for our animals as soon as possible. We really need volunteers
[ ] to post announcements or photos of our animals on the Internet and print media.
