Borsch is a popular dish in many Eastern and Central European countries, such as Russia, Poland, Germany, and Ukraine. Beetroot can be cooked and eaten warm with butter; or it can be pickled and then eaten cold; or peeled and shredded and then eaten as a salad, but many people believe it’s best served in Borsch. Whatever you call it, Borsch can be the perfect meal to warm you up on a cold winter day, or a delightful snack when the weather’s warmer.
