December is one of the best and most magical months to travel to Europe. Before Christmas you can see lots of beautifully decorated cities. It’s not surprising as there are so many traditions in Europe.
On the 6th of December some people celebrate a European event when children get a surprise visit from St. Nicholas and Rupert, his helper. They leave treats such as Golden nuts and oranges in every child’s boot. In the morning some children might be lucky to see the steps, showing them Nicholas’ way in and out of their house on the garden path.
