In Japan, you must sleep at work. This kind of rest during the workday is called "inemuri" which means "sleep while being present". This tradition is a result of a long working day in this country. Sleeping on the job is not only normal, the Japanese think that people who sleep well and long during "inemuri" are more hard-working than those who don't take a nap.
