These days many people regularly attend theatres and concerts. This type of activity is very popular among all age groups. However, not everyone knows how to behave correctly in the theatre or during the performance. In this article, you will learn some useful tips.

Forget about jeans, sneakers and tracksuits when you go to the theatre. Women are advised to wear a suit or dress of calm, strict tones and complement the look with elegant jewellery. Men should wear dark clothes: a classic suit or trousers with a shirt. Don't forget to change your shoes in the cloakroom if the weather is bad outside!

Try to come to the theatre 20-30 minutes before the start of the performance, so that you have enough time to leave your coat in cloakroom and take your seat in the hall. If you are still late, you do not need to make your way through the rows to your seat, stepping on other people's feet and distracting them from the performance. Contact the administrator. You will be helped to take an empty seat. You will take your seat later, during the intermission. Make your way to your seat correctly: turn your face to those who are already sitting and apologize to them in a low voice for causing trouble.

Please note that the request to turn off mobile phones or switch them to silent mode applies to all those present in the hall. Also, you should not talk to people sitting next to you. And, of course, it is unacceptable to bring food or drinks into the hall — there is an intermission and a buffet to have a snack.

Don't stand up at the end of the performance to rush to the cloakroom to get your clothes. It is necessary to wait for the bow of the artists and stand up only if they have left the stage. If you brought flowers with you, don't try to pass them on to the stage yourself. You can do this through the administrator of the theatre.
