My city is not very big. Its name is Yaroslavl. It is a very old place. Yaroslavl is situated not far from Moscow on the Volga River with a lot of bridges across it. My town is famous for its theatre. It is the first Russian theatre. The theatre is in the city centre, not far from the Kremlin.
The streets are not very wide, but they are green. There are shops, banks, cinemas, restaurants in my city. We have got a railway station too. It is not very far from my house. There is a museum in Yaroslavl and a picture gallery too. There are a lot of things to see and to do in my city. There are many forests around it.
I know many cities are more important than Yaroslavl. But not for me. I can say, “East or west, home is best.” I think my city is very beautiful and I’m proud of it.
