Swamp Man
Daniel Hooper (also known as 'Swampy') became a (1) hero during the mid 1990s. Swampy and his fellow campaigners were concerned that the (2) of a major road in the town of Newbury would damage local ecosystems and have a serious impact on the environment.

The builders had to promise to keep the wildlife in the area safe and the government said that all future road projects would be designed to do more to protect the environment – a (7) change of policy.
