Drones are flying machines operating without a pilot. Drones can either be operated distantly by the pilot, or fly autonomously by means of built-in software. Drones can operate in conditions which are unsafe, aggressive and even hostile for a human being.
In the past, drones mostly fulfilled military intelligence and fighting functions, but currently they are able to implement a wide range of useful civic functions. They are used both for personal and business purposes. Drones are good at the weather or traffic conditions monitoring, rescue missions, fast delivery of necessary cargos, and are also used in agriculture. Photos and videos made by drones are terrific!
The first model of a drone was made in 1935 by the military as a target for air forces training. And in 2016 Amazon used drones for the first cargo delivery in Britain.
High demand on drones caused a range of problems connected with safety. They were mostly the consequences of crashing and losing control. That led to stricter control over drones and emergence of the areas where the flights of the drones are completely prohibited.
