On the 1st of September, 2022, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, new educational IT projects started in Russia.

Code of the Future

This project is created for school students in grades 8–11. They can take free courses and learn modern programming languages. The programme has four parts, each with 36 academic hours. The total study time is two years. Students can learn both online and offline at regional educational centres. This project has been advertised widely, making it very attractive to interested students.

Digital Departments

University students can get free extra IT education while studying their main professions. More than 100 universities in the Priority 2030 programme are taking part in this project. In 2022, more than 80,000 students joined it. By 2030, about 900,000 students will have got extra education through the Digital Departments project. This has been featured in national news in order to inform the target audience.

Digital Professions

The Digital Professions project lets people of any age over 18 learn an IT profession with an over 50% discount from the government. There are more than 125 courses to choose from. Since the Digital Professions project is popular, it will no longer have a yearly limit on the amount of participants. You can apply for these courses on the Public Services Portal (Gosuslugi). This makes IT education more accessible to everyone. The government is proud of these initiatives that promote safety in digital learning and come up with new ways to make education practical and appealing.
