A. In the summer of my 9th grade year, I went to Cameroon. My father and I were in a hotel at the checkout desk. I decided to call my mother to tell her we had reached the hotel. At that time, I had an iPhone 5. I walked out of the hotel and dialled the number. Suddenly, the man ran up and grabbed the phone. I shouted to my dad that the phone had been stolen and we ran after the thief. Unfortunately, we could not see him after a while. After about one minute, some men appeared, holding the thief with their hands behind his back. A police car came and arrested the thief. My phone was returned.

B.One day, I witnessed a crime. I was riding my bicycle home when I saw an elderly woman. She was standing at the bus stop when the mugger approached her. He grabbed her purse and ran off with it. She screamed and I went to help the woman. Fortunately, there was a young woman who was also standing at the bus stop, smoking a cigarette, when the mugger robbed the old woman. She set his clothes on fire. The mugger started to put out the fire. The woman ran towards him and started hitting him. When the police arrived, they caught the mugger and handcuffed him.

C. One morning, I was busy doing housework when suddenly a salesman knocked at my door. When I opened the door, I saw a man wearing a black uniform. The man was selling home appliances. Being a housewife, I loved them and let the man in. When I went to my bedroom to get the money, I suddenly heard a loud shout from the living room, "Put your hands up!" the man shouted in a low but fiery tone. After that he tied me to a chair and put a piece of tape around my mouth so I couldn't scream for help. He then took all my valuables and ran away. I later filed a report with the police and was assured that they would catch the culprit. A few weeks later, I received a phone call telling me that the culprit was caught and they would return my valuables to me. I was so happy that I cried with joy.
