Date: 2nd October
The purpose of this report is to assess the good and bad points of the Tee−Hee! Bar & Canteen, a bar and restaurant in the Pacific Village Waterside Complex, Brighton.
Tee−Hee! Bar & Canteen offers sandwiches, nibbles, snacks and main meals that are tasty and very affordable. All the food is cooked in front of you in the open plan kitchen. There is something on the menu, which will appeal to both vegetarians and meat−eaters. However, children are not well catered for. There is no special kid's menu, so it may be difficult to find something suitable.
On the whole, the staff at Tee−Hee were very friendly. We ordered right away and our food came within fifteen minutes. Unfortunately, the staff did not cope well when the bar became busier. It was difficult to find a waiter to order our desserts and it took half an hour to pay the bill.
The mood in Tee−Hee varies a lot. During the day the place is relaxed and peaceful, however, at night it becomes much busier and quite loud. There are plenty of comfy seats and lots of outdoor seating for the summer.
Despite the fact that Pacific Village has many different places to eat, Tee−Hee! Bar & Canteen is definitely one of the best in terms of taste, cost and service. Therefore, I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a reasonably priced, fun place to eat.
