A) The Malye Korely
The Malye Korely is a wonderful museum of Russian wooden architecture. It is situated in the open air, not far from Arkhangelsk. The museum was founded in 1964. Tourists can visit 120 different wooden buildings which were brought there from northern villages. They can get the idea of everyday life of Russian people in the 16th—19th centuries. Great folklore festivals are organized in the museum on Christmas and Easter.
B) The Moscow Zoological Museum
A visit to the Moscow Zoological Museum is a perfect way to spend a day together as a family. Grandparents and parents, grandchildren and children can find something new to learn about all kinds of animals. It is always an exciting and magical day for everyone!
C) The Polytechnic Museum
The Polytechnic Museum can teach children a lot about physics, biology and other sciences. But these lessons will never be boring. Children can do a lot of different experiments and learn a lot about natural science and the surrounding world.
D) The Art Museum in Moscow
The Art Museum in Moscow has educational clubs that help children understand Arts better and learn more about painters and sculptors. There are interesting drawing classes for kids and their parents. During the classes, they can learn more about paintings and even draw their own pictures!
E) The Fersman Mineralogical Museum
The Fersman Mineralogical Museum is one of the most interesting natural science museums in Russia. Its history spans over 300 years, and it is second to none in our country when it comes to the size of its collections. The museum collection amounts to about 140 thousand items representing all known types of minerals from all over the world. There are 20 themed displays in the museum in total.
Andy: "This year we have a new subject to study. It's physics. I like to learn interesting science and technology facts by experimenting with different materials. In my free time, I usually read books and magazines about the nature of gravity, time, space. New discoveries are being made every day, and I hope that one day I will become a famous scientist".
