Out of this world, a great place to visit. Exploring space is always exciting! The monument to the conquerors of space was impressive. I was surprised by the things that are kept in the museum. There are interactive areas for visitors where you can see examples of state-of-the-art space technologies. At first, we planned to go on Monday but the museum was closed so we decided to go for a walk around Moscow. Eventually, we went there on a very wet Tuesday and this was the perfect place for a rainy day. If you are seeking something interesting, you should go there.

This wonderful museum takes you through the history of space exploration from the beginnings of the Space Race to the present. It's much like the Kennedy Space Center. I was impressed by the courage that Russian cosmonauts had when they were exploring space. Some artifacts are actually reproductions and models but some are real items. Belka and Strelka, the first two of Russia's space dogs to survive reentry, are on display preserved under glass. The building that houses the museum is an architectural sight as well, topped with a rocket soaring skyward. The ticket price is very inexpensive when compared to any other science museum in the world. An adult ticket costs 250 rubles, about $4. Due to recommendations on the website, I got the audio tour in English for another 200 rubles. Virtually every exhibit and display has an English translation of their descriptions, contexts, and explanations. It's great and convenient for foreign visitors!

One of the more important space museums in the world. This museum has many, but not of course all, items of the Russian space program. Many of the items are, of course, replicas. But if you wish to visit only one space or technology museum in Moscow, this is definitely the one. The museum is located underground and it has chambers where the exhibits are kept. I know that a few celebrities have visited this place. It sounds superb!
