Read some safety rules on how to use the Net and decide if the statements are True, False, or Not stated.
If you want to use the Internet, remember these rules:
- Don't say anything about your family, address, telephone number.
Don't give any other personal information to strangers.
They can be criminals and burglars in real life.
- If you suddenly want to meet with an "Internet friend" in real life, you should inform your parents about it.
You should always ask your parents' permission and say where you are going and with whom.
- Try to visit only those Internet pages that your parents advise you.
They are adults and they know better what is good and what is bad.
And, besides, your parents love you very much and worry about you.
- Tell your parents about things that worry or confuse you on the Internet.
They will help you in this situation.
- Never send an SMS without parents' permission to get information from the Internet.
Sometimes a window pops up — very bright and attractive for people with the words: "Only today — a unique chance — take part and win!" Don't believe it! Ask your parents for advice to send an SMS or not.
You shouldn't forget that the Internet is not the main activity in our life.
In addition to it, you should read your favourite books, play sports and have a walk with friends in the fresh air!
