Read some people's opinions about the national sport of New Zealand. Match the halves of the sentences below.

Sam

We say that our national sport is rugby, but it's not what we do individually. New Zealand's most popular activities include walking, swimming, cycling, going to the gym, fishing, jogging or running, and yoga or Pilates. We also love dancing, golf, aerobics, canoeing and kayaking, football, tennis, snow sports, netball, cricket, hunting, and touch rugby. However, most New Zealanders are real rugby fans. We love this game so much, although it can be quite violent in some cases.

Alex

Most people under 40 play some form of sport in New Zealand. Golf, jogging, and soccer are the most popular ones. However, the national sport in New Zealand is rugby. All the teams get some support for the Rugby League. Cricket is also interesting for us. We watch both men's and women's teams. The New Zealand soccer teams are also as important as other national New Zealand teams. New Zealanders also enjoy netball (Silver Ferns), ice hockey (both men and women), basketball (Tall Blacks), swimming, athletics, and softball.

Nevin

Nationally, the most popular sport is still rugby, and as long as New Zealand remains the best in the world, it will be so. People also love cricket and softball, but they are not at the top. Basketball can be interesting for some categories of fans, but not for all.
