Sleep is a natural process that is characterised by a reduced reaction to the outside world and specific brain activity. Sleep is especially important for the development of every child. While sleeping, the brain is processing all the information received during the day and helps to remember it. As far as children are constantly studying, a healthy sleep schedule is what they need the most.

There are different time limits of sleep for the kids of various ages. Sleeping less than recommended causes problems with attention, behaviour and learning. Lack of sleep also increases the risk of accidents, injuries, obesity, diabetes, and depression.

Today gadgets have become a serious problem for a healthy sleep schedule. IPads, mobile phones and laptops leave less time for sleeping and complicate the process of going to bed.The blue light from electronic devices makes people feel less sleepy and stimulates the brain when it needs to relax. To change the situation to the better many experts recommend practising "digital detox". It means that all electronic devices should be turned off 90 minutes before going to bed.More than a third of the population does not get enough sleep. Good night sleep should be a priority for the whole family. All members of the family should keep a regular sleep schedule according to their age and needs.
