Dear Jess,
How are you? I'm sorry I 1) _ \(not/write\) to you for a while, but I 2) _ \(be\) really busy. Let me tell you my news. I 3) _ \(start\) at the local 6th form college last September, and I 4) _ \(study\) for my A' levels at the moment. I 5) _ \(become\) a lawyer when I grow up, so I'll have to work hard and pass all my exams to get into a good university.
My other news is that I have a new pet dog. I 6) _ \(have\) him for two months now and he's really cute but sometimes a little naughty. For example, while I 7) _ \(walk\) him in the park yesterday, he 8) _ \(run\) off and it 9) _ \(take\) me an hour and a half to find him again.
