Put the verb in each sentence in the correct form and choose its meaning as in the example

Some verbs can have both stative and active meaning. For example, hear, see, taste and smell.

  • If a stative verb has an active meaning, we can use it in Present Continuous.
  • If a stative verb is used in a stative meaning, we can't use it in Present Continuous. We use Present Simple instead.
