We went up the hill, which was really high. You can even see our house from the top – so I got an amazing picture of the city. It's the best one I've taken so far. Look! Text B What are you making? Just some sandwiches. Mum and Dad went to work, so we have to make our own breakfast. Oh, I thought we would have a family breakfast together first. They had to leave earlier than planned. I'd be happy to cook something tasty for them if they were here. Well, they enjoy your cooking. You're amazing at it! Text C On my very first date, my dad insisted on coming along to the cinema with us. If that wasn't embarrassing enough, during the movie, I heard some terrible sounds coming from behind me. I turned around to see my dad had fallen asleep and was snoring loudly! And to make things worse, my boyfriend actually suggested we call an ambulance because he thought my dad was having a heart attack! Text D How was the trip? Super, thanks, except the excursion I went on with Mum. I thought you'd enjoy sightseeing. Usually, I would. I'm not like my dad, who always feels sick whenever we go anywhere by bus. The road was bumpy, but that just added to the excitement. The bus had a really noisy engine, though. Everyone started complaining, so we returned not long after we'd set off. I was so relieved!
