A. In the 1980s people believed that to eat smaller portions many times a day was healthier than to eat three big meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Later scientists proved that it is not always true. You burn the same total number of calories if you eat many smaller meals or only three big meals. Everything depends on your physical activity.

B. If people want to lose some weight and be healthy, they have to change their lifestyle. It is not a quick process. If you decide to do it, you shouldn't go back to your old lifestyle. There are three things you must remember: food, exercise and sleep. Do not use a lift, walk up the stairs. Walk for half an hour or more each day. Regular sleep also helps because it makes you feel not so hungry.

C. How much exercise do people need? For most grown-ups it is 150 minutes of physical activity a week or more. You should exercise for 30 minutes five times a week. If you have no free time, you may break it up and do sports for 15 minutes twice a day. Besides, you may be more active at the weekend. You will have the same result. And start with easy things first, do harder things later.

D. Today physical exercises can be real fun. There are special video games called "exergames". When you play them, you move to simulate dancing, skateboarding, soccer, bowling or other sport games. You burn a lot of calories this way. It helps many people get interested in sports and start playing them in real life.
