Norma Jean Bowerschmidt, a 91-year-old American, has proved that sometimes travelling is the best cure not only for [subscribers|covered|boredom|recreation|follow|adventure|undergo]  but also for all diseases.

In 2015, Norma was diagnosed with a serious disease. She had to stay in the hospital and [subscribers|covered|boredom|recreation|follow|adventure|undergo] unpleasant procedures. Norma did not agree to spend the rest of her life in the hospital — instead, she decided to travel.

The brave woman went by car on a trip around the country with her son and his wife. And it became a road [subscribers|covered|boredom|recreation|follow|adventure|undergo] and the greatest journey of her life.

Norma's son Tim and his wife Rami carefully documented every moment of their mother's joy, interest and smile and posted it on Facebook. In a while, more than 400 thousand [subscribers|covered|boredom|recreation|follow|adventure|undergo] soon began to follow their movements.

In a year, Tim and Rami informed that they had covered almost 21 thousand kilometres together, sleeping in 75 different places in 32 states. They had visited more than 20 national parks, monuments and [subscribers|covered|boredom|recreation|follow|adventure|undergo] areas.

When something happened to Norma for the first time, whether it was a horse ride, the first pedicure, the first plate of oysters, a lime pie or fried green tomatoes, it raised a happy smile on her face.
