Transplantology
It's hard to imagine that literally a century ago people didn't know \(\boxed{32}\) \(\underline{ }\) about organ transplantation. For the people of that time, it was beyond comprehension. The first doctors who became innovators in transplantology for many years did transplanting experiments \(\boxed{33}\) \(\underline{ }\) organs and body parts of animals. First they used dogs. Later, monkeys became patients, as they are very close in structure and DNA to humans. But many of them have not lived for more than a month. The first organ transplants began to be done to people whose lives were doomed. For example, people who have lost their kidneys and who would have to go on dialysis for the rest of their lives. But at that time it had not yet been invented, so kidney transplantation would help these people. Relatives could act as donors at that time. The probability that the kidney will take \(\boxed{34}\) \(\underline{ }\) was higher. But after the operation, as now, the patient would need to take special drugs that would suppress the immune \(\boxed{35}\) \(\underline{ }\) . In those days, they had not yet been invented. The path of organ transplantation was very thorny, but at the same time this gave people the opportunity to live from six months to three years. Now modern transplantology makes it possible to fully recover. \(\boxed{36}\) \(\underline{ }\) person can act as a donor.
Now there is even a service for studying citizens who need a transplant. If there is a traffic accident, suicide or a person dies in the hospital, doctors and police, and sometimes \(\boxed{37}\) \(\underline{ }\) contact the service to have time to take organs. The most difficult thing is to take a heart for a transplant. The simplest thing is the skin. Organs are often transported by \(\boxed{38}\) \(\underline{ }\) to someone who needs them.
