The Tortoise and the Hare
Once upon a time, a wise young tortoise read an old book about a tortoise who had beaten a hare in a race. He read all the other books he could find 30.___________ there was nothing in any of them about a hare that had beaten a tortoise. "Nonsense," said the hare. "You can't run thirty feet in an hour and a half, while I can run thirty feet in a second and a half."
"Posh," said the tortoise.

So they marked off a course that was thirty feet long. All the other animals gathered around them. A bullfrog set them on their marks, a gun dog fired a pistol, and they were 35.___________.
