Features of the Modern Family.
Each country has a concept of a family with its own traditions, which are many hundreds of years old. If we consider the countries that can be ranked among the cultures similar to the European, then, in general, the development went in a similar way. Rapid changes began to occur around the end of the XIX century and continue to this day.
I must say that the very requirement of forming a family over the Europeans does not weigh as much and not as harshly as in Russia. That is, the very idea that a normal, "non-defective" girl needs a husband immediately after training, otherwise she will be left alone, is not very popular. As well as a young man must follow the rule "you need to marry".
Wedlock is not as common as it used to be. More and more people, and throughout their lives, prefer to live in various forms of civil marriage, while boldly having children. People living in a civil marriage in Europe have practically the same rights as in the official one, and, most importantly, these rights are clearly observed, in contrast to Russia.
The upbringing of children is based, as a rule, on support, respect, clarification of issues, attention, non-ignorance and prohibition of corporal punishment. In some countries, the severity of punishment for children is regulated by law. For example, corporal punishment in any form can be completely prohibited.
In Russia, an approach is more common in which children are either ignored or strongly criticised. As a result, people are formed with an irrational approach to life, psychologically weak, notorious, aggressive; living within the framework of rigid and little functional in modern society attitudes.
High autonomy of children from their parents upon reaching the age of majority. As a rule, children quickly leave their parents and family ties are of much less importance than in Russia. It's okay to meet once at Christmas (or just call). Obviously, two aspects contribute to this. One is educational when independence is instilled in children, and the second is a sufficient level of income even for young specialists, which allows them to rent housing and live their own lives on their own.
