Strategies and useful tips

  • Time! It is advised to spend not more than 10–12 minutes to complete this task.
  • Do NOT change the part of speech!
  • Read the whole task carefully ignoring the gaps to understand the tense (present, past or future). Highlight the keywords and tense markers.
  • Pay attention to the very first sentence, that is the starting point (in grammar). That will give you an understanding of which tenses to use (Present/Past Continuous, Perfect, etc.) for the sequence of events: what happened before, after or at the same time with the main event.
  • Be careful with spelling!
  • Pay attention to irregular forms!
  • When writing your answer into the blank all the letters must be CAPITAL without any gaps (e.g. HASGOT, DONOTLIKE). Use a full form without an apostrophe.

Ответы к заданиям 19–25 записываются заглавными буквами без сокращений и пробелов. Пример: DOESNOTLIKE.
