Present Perfect Simple and Continuous
Present Perfect — настоящее совершённое время.

Образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола have/has и третьей формы смыслового глагола: have/has + Ved/V3.

Present Perfect Continuous — настоящее совершённо-продолженное время.

Образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола to be в форме Present Perfect и смыслового глагола в форме — ing: have/has been + Ving.

  1. Present Perfect употребляется для выражения совершившегося действия, которое своим результатом связано с настоящим моментом. При этом важна завершённость действия: I have fixed the car. (The car is fixed now.)

Present Perfect Continuous употребляется для выражения действия, которое началось в прошлом и продолжается по настоящее время либо недавно завершилось. При этом акцент не на завершённости или незавершённости действия, а на самом действии. Обычно имеется указание на последствия этого действия: I have been fixing the car. My hands are dirty. (It doesn't matter whether the car is fixed or not.)

  1. Present Perfect используется, если важно количество: I have painted three pictures during my winter holidays.

Present Perfect Continuous используется, если важна длительность действия: I have been painting for six hours.

  1. В некоторых случаях возможно употребление как Present Perfect, так и Present Perfect Continuous: I have worked for this company for three years. I have been working for this company for three years.

  2. Глаголы состояния, а также глаголы чувства и восприятия (see, hear, taste, smell, like, love, hate, understand, know, think, have, own, т.д.) не используются в Present Perfect Continuous: I have known Sue for 10 years. I have had this car for a year.

Глаголы see, taste, smell, have, think могут употребляться в Present Perfect Continuous в том случае, если они означают действие: see — видеться, встречаться; taste — пробовать на вкус; smell — нюхать; think — размышлять, рассуждать; have в фразах have lunch, have a shower, have a wonderful time и т. п.: I have been thinking about your idea. He has been having a shower for half an hour and he's still there singing happily.
