2. Body paragraph 1 (первый основной абзац).

A school newspaper has asked for essays on the following topic: "Reusing: Yes or No?". Write an essay (200–250 words). Include:

2–3 points of view,
the opposite point of view,
your opinion on the subject,
the conclusion.
Now read the sample of the essay and put its parts into the correct order.
The problem of keeping the environment clean is controversial. Some people believe that we must stop using disposable goods, while others state that the environmental issues are exaggerated. In my essay, I am going to reveal this issue. Firstly, people who stand for recycling state that the planet is getting more polluted with plastic. Urban and rural dumps are full of different kinds of plastic. Secondly, about 50 % of this plastic may be used more than once. You can use bottles and plastic bags instead of buying new disposable goods or packaging. Thirdly, the problem is not only with plastic. Glass, metal, and batteries should also be utilised or recycled. However, other people believe that this problem is overstated. Some ecologists argue with eco-activists and say that the terms of non-degradable materials decay are exaggerated. The other reason for not reusing plastic is the pollution of water or food with its small particles, which can be dangerous. And here, the scientists provided research proving the argument above. Although the last argument seems reasonable, I disagree with it. When you buy a drink in a plastic bottle, those particles are already there. It is a valid reason to stop using disposable plastic and other materials. There are various points of view on this issue, but if we want to stop the pollution, we must refuse disposable goods. Having reusable shoppers, coffee cups, and metallic bottles will help to save our planet and our wallets.
