The Darwin family

Charles Darwin was an English scientist, a biologist who studied nature. He is famous for his theory of evolution by natural selection. Charles Darwin was born in 1809 in England. He came from an educated family. His grandparents were worked in science, medicine, and ceramics industry. He was eight years old when his mother died. She was a daughter of a rich porcelain factory owner. His father was a doctor and wanted his son to study medicine. But Charles was a nature fan from a very young age. He was more interested in natural history than medicine. As a child, he loved exploring nature, plants, and animals. Charles married his first cousin, Emma. They had ten children. He taught them about science and the natural world. Charles Darwin had five sons. They all were very smart and successful in different subjects like maths, science, and engineering. They became scientists, artists, politicians, and writers. Darwin’s wife, Emma, helped Darwin with his work a lot. Every member of Darwin's family was intelligent, talented and hard-working. That makes them an excellent family example.
