I’m going to give a talk about seasons. As you know, there are four seasons in our country: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Although, I like all seasons, my favourite one is summer because in summer the weather is usually warm and sunny. Besides, in summer children have long summer holidays and they don’t have to go to school. Moreover, my birthday is in June and I always look forward to my birthday party.

In summer I have a lot of free time for my hobbies and doing sports. I usually ride a bicycle, roller-skate or skateboard. Also, my friends and I often go to the park or to the sportsground to play football or volleyball. What is more, summer is the best time for travelling. My family and I usually go to the seaside in August.

As I said, summer is my favourite season, but to my mind, each season is beautiful in its own way. For instance, without cold snowy days in winter we wouldn’t appreciate warm sunny days in summer. And there is nothing more beautiful than colourful autumn trees and first spring flowers. And what a fun to play snowballs in winter!

I think that despite the fact that the weather is often cold in winter, we can have a good time during winter holidays. For example, I enjoy skating and skiing. My friends and I also like to play hockey in winter. And when I was little I liked to make a snowman.

All in all, I’d like to say that each season has something special. I think our life would be much more boring without the change of seasons.
