  • Travelling is one of the most pleasant pastimes for many people. They love seeing new places, meeting new people and learning about other cultures. There are many ways to travel by car, by train or by plane. Though, some tourists think that travelling by ship is the most preferable while other holidaymakers think differently.
  • Personally, I like travelling by ship best of all. To begin with, the cruise ship stops in different ports and you can go on the shore for excursions, that allows you to see many different places not only your final destination. Moreover, passenger liners provide excellent food and drinks, entertainment and sports activities for travellers. Hence, you will never get bored while travelling from one place to another.
  • Nevertheless, there is another point of view on this issue. Some opponents of mine do not consider travelling by ship as a perfect way of transportation. They say that the price of tickets is often too high on these liners. What is more, many people suffer from seasickness when out on the water.
  • I completely disagree with the opinion stated above. You pay extra money for luxury, comfort and first-class entertainment of a passenger liner and it is worth it. From time to time you can indulge yourself with such things especially if you work hard all year round. Besides, you can choose cheaper ships or shorter voyages which will cost you less money. As for the seasickness, there are a lot of different medicines and remedies to cope with this problem. In addition, you can travel by river ship along rivers, where waves are not so big.
  • To sum up, I would like to restate my point of view. In my way of thinking travelling by ship is the best way to go from one place to another.
