Make adverbs from the given adjectives to complete "Tom Swifties"
A type of word play in which there is a punning relationship between an adverb and the statement it refers to.
The Tom Swifty is named after the title character in a series of children's adventure books published from 1910 onwards. The author (the pseudonymous "Victor Appleton" et al.) made a habit of attaching various adverbs to the phrase "Tom said."
Example: "It's not fair!" said Tom darkly.
(The word "fair" in this context means "not reasonable, acceptable, or right". But another meaning of this word is the light color. So the adverb "darkly" is a word play to the word "fair".)
"Where is the airport?" Tom asked .
"I'll be back in seven days," Tom said .
"I like your pony," Tom said .
"May I have a slice of pie?" Tom asked .
