A: Good morning, have you come for an interview?
B: Good morning. My name is John Davidson and I'm applying for the position of the head chef.
A: It's nice to see you, Mr Davidson. My name is Phoebe Tompson, I'm the head of HR managers in our company. Come in, please.
B: Thank you, Ms Tompson.
A: So, you're applying for the position of head chef at one of our restaurants. Could you tell me a little bit about yourself and your working experience?
B: I studied at Tatin college, where I gained my first level cooking diploma. I've been working as a junior chef for three years in one French restaurant first. Then I was offered a position of sous-chef in one Mediterranean restaurant in Madrid. My duties were assisting the head chef, tasting other chefs' food, and working on seasonal menus. I spent 2 years in Spain and then returned home.
A: Nice, you've got an interesting experience... Spain, Mediterranean kitchen, I think our Brand Chef will be interested in you. I guess the work in Spain was quite promising. Why did you leave your last job?
B: To be honest, I felt homesick...I was born and grew up here, all my friends and family are here, I missed them.
A: Oh, I am a domestic person too. So, could you tell me about your strengths?
B: Firstly, I am a team player. I think it's much easier to achieve something with others than alone. Secondly, I keep my cool in stressful situations and always try to learn from past mistakes.
A: Fine, I guess that's enough for the first interview. The next step is your meeting with our Brand Chef. I wish you Good Luck. Maybe you have questions for me?
B: No, I haven't. Thank you, Ms Tompson.
A: See you.
