My name is Amanda. I live in New York with my mum and dad. We love travelling. I have already been to seven countries. My favourites are France, Germany and Greece. Before visiting new places, I usually read about them on the internet. I have noticed that people have different wrong stereotypes about other nationalities. For example, people think that the French are very rude and Germans are very loud. But it's not true. French people were very polite to us when we were there. They have great culture and cuisine. I met a girl there. She is French. We became penfriends. Her name is Lola, and she is very nice. Germans aren't loud—it's not true again. But some elderly are. I think it's because they are hard of hearing.
