Future Profession
— (L) Hi, Brian. How are you doing?

— (B) Hi, Liz. Everything seems fine, but definitely, this academic year is quite challenging.

— (L) Oh, yes. We have so many tasks to do. Moreover, my parents want me to make the final decision about higher education.

— (B) Haven't you decided to enter Art college? You told me this couple of months ago.

— (L) Yeah... But I'm having second thoughts about it. In fact, I'm considering a gap year as an alternative.

— (B) What? Are you serious? I would never have thought that you'll be ready to miss one year.

— (L) Don't say this. I suppose it's a great opportunity to get my head straight. My exams allow me to enter Art college but I have a choice of two specialities. Paint faculty and Music production.

— (B) Wow! I know that you are fond of music but to choose Music production...

— (L) My parents were also astonished when they heard this. But this sphere is developing now and I think it'll still be popular in a few years. And going back to your question. I think a gap year can be a good option to make the final decision. By the way, what about you? Are you still into Economics?

— (B) Yes, you are right. I even started visiting additional courses. I hope they'll help me to prepare better for entrance exams. I visit them twice a week and I also have one online webinar once a month.

— (L) Sounds nice! Do you find them useful?

— (B) Surely! I get a lot of necessary information there. It's so up to date. You can't find much information in books.

— (L) That's great that you like it. Oh, mum is calling. I need to answer.

— (B) Sure! It was great to chat a little. See you tomorrow.

— (L) Yes, see you. Bye!
